Join Minnesota Public Radio host Kerri Miller as she welcomes social scientist and bestselling author Barbara Ehrenreich for this installment of the Broadcast Journalist Series.

Ehrenreich has long focused on issues of the working class and the working poor. With her latest work -- "Bait and Switch: The (Futile) Pursuit of the American Dream" -- she takes a look at the financial vulnerability of those who have seemingly done everything right, such as earned degrees and developed marketable skills, but are still searching for employment.

The event is free but tickets are required and can be picked up at area Whole Foods Markets starting Sept. 14.
